Our Stallion

Tui's Nimrod

SIRE OF EXCEPTIONAL FOALS THAT BECOME AMAZING HORSES

Tui's Nimrod is a true Galloway type backed by a strong performance pedigree. His progeny excel in dressage, eventing, showing, halter, polocrosse, pony club and family pleasure.

Bred in New Zealand Tui's Nimrod is an ideal choice for cross breeding to produce multi purpose family ponies and horses. His pure bred offspring are classy and intelligent with a curious, sociable temperament, comfortable paces and the ability to master whatever is asked of them.

The horses we have produced by Nimrod have exceptional feet (all bare foot), sound conformation and athleticism. Their new owners continue to praise them.

Shown by Sue and Duncan Terry, Tui's Nimrod proved himself as a successful performance Galloway stallion with Supremes and Championships; Ridden and at Halter in both Breed and Open classes. His temperament and trainability allowed him to excel whatever his task, with his show career culminating in winning Ridden Galloway Stallion at the Royal Melbourne Show in 2003.

Retired from showing, Nimrod shines as a Granny's pleasure mount and confidence teacher for beginners.

He was gelded in 2014; I didnt want to risk injuries while serving mares.
Now he's enjoying keeping peace in the gelding and colt herd.

His breading continues with frozen semen.

The fancy dress class at the Annual National Morgan Show is my favourite as it allowed me to showcase the patient, unflappable temperament of Nimrod and his offspring while giving free rein to my inner child.

Dressed as the Mad Hatter and ridden by 62 year old 'Alice' leading Samaria Creek Zaeeda his 18 month old filly dressed as the Cheshire cat, Nimrod remained elegant and well mannered.
A true testament to the Morgan breed
